Hi! Welcome to Blogmas Day 1!
I’m starting a fun series on here: The 12 Days of Blogmas! I’m going to be blogging every other day of December leading up to Christmas! I’m so excited to be doing this, and I hope that you are just as excited to read my posts leading up to my favorite holiday of the year!
Today I want to share with you 5 goals I have for December. I’m really big on making goals, and I always like to make goals for the day, week, month, semester, year, etc. Here are 5 goals I have for this month. Enjoy!
1. EAT HEALTHY FOR AT LEAST TWO MEALS A DAY
I have been working on fixing up my eating habits lately, and plan on continuing working on my diet throughout December. I’ve gotten much better about my snacking habits and have cut down on snacking on junk food significantly. Now, I want to place a bigger emphasis on my actual meals, and really try to make 2 out of my 3 main meals healthy.
2. STRETCH BEFORE BED
If you know me, you know that I am one of the least flexible people out there. I really want to try and become more flexible, and that starts with just 5 minutes of stretching before bed every night. I’ve gotten into running recently, so stretching is very important for my body to recover. I plan on working it into my schedule this month and hopefully, it will stick!
3. WORK HARD ON BLOGGING
This summer I put a lot of effort into my little corner of the internet and redid this whole blog and even got into a great posting routine. Naturally, once I got to school blogging became very low down on my to-do list and I neglected to work on this website and even my Instagram. I want to try my best this month to work on making better content both on here and on my Instagram.
4. FINISH CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EARLY
I am such a procrastinator, and Christmas shopping is something I simply cannot procrastinate on! I want to try and get all of my shopping done as early as I can so I can relax and enjoy time with family and friends once I’m home for Christmas break.
5. DON’T BUY ANYTHING UNNECESSARY FOR MYSELF
This time of year I spend a decent amount of money getting gifts for friends and family. Going out shopping for gifts is great, but I always end up grabbing a few things here and there that I see for myself. I want to try and save money this year and not let myself buy anything (besides necessary things like groceries) until after Christmas.
There you have it! 5 goals for the month of December! Do you have any goals for this month? Let me know in the comment section below! Also, if you liked this post and want to see more from me, be sure to head to my homepage and subscribe to emails and follow me on Instagram @mainly.mackenzie!
