Hi! Welcome back to my blog and happy May!
It’s almost summer and I am so excited. I have just a couple more weeks of school and then I’m heading back home to Rhode Island to spend the summer!
Blogging took a bit of a backseat for a chunk of this month because school got so incredibly busy. I was still able to get a few posts up this month, though!
HERE’S WHAT I PUBLISHED IN APRIL:
Now, for my top 5!
1. ASHEVILLE, NC
This month my parents flew down to North Carolina and we drove to Asheville with Mitchell for Easter weekend. It was such a great weekend and a much-needed getaway! We spent a day exploring downtown, ate some good food, drank lots of good coffee, and even got to do a little hike on the way home! If you ever have the opportunity to travel to Asheville, North Carolina I definitely recommend it! In October I visited for my fall break which you can read about here!
2. MAC EYELINER: TEDDY
I totally forgot that I had this eyeliner, and I found it in my makeup bag earlier this month! Since finding it I’ve worn it basically every single day. I love how easily it goes on, and the color is gorgeous. From far away it looks like a nice, light brown but closer up it looks more bronze/gold. Such a great shade!
3. EASTER CANDY
The best part of any holiday is the candy. Easter candy is the best. Starburst jellybeans and Cadbury mini eggs are just so good! I’ve been slowly chipping away at all of the candy I got for Easter and it’s the best. Having a little something sweet always brightens my day!
4. CHAMBRAY SHORTS
I bought these shorts towards the end of April but they’re already my favorite! They’re so comfortable, cute, and high waisted! I already know I’m going to be wearing them all the time this summer!
5. THE GREAT BRITISH BAKING SHOW
OMG, you guys I was seriously missing out with this show. I watch it almost every single night before going to bed. It’s just so sweet and calming it’s the perfect show to watch at night! It’s seriously one of the cutest shows and definitely now one of my favorites!
