Hey there! Welcome back to my blog! It’s July already, WHAT?! I can’t believe how fast the summer is going by! I’ve got yet another top 5 for you today!
June was a pretty solid month. I started my internship, continued with my part-time hostessing job, got into my gym routine, and even did a lot of fun things! It was definitely a step up from May, which left me super stressed and burnt out. I only missed one planned upload day in June, and posted 2 blog posts a week instead of just one – WOOHOO!
HERE’S WHAT I PUBLISHED IN JUNE:
- My May Top 5
- Life Update & Summer Plans
- 5 Healthy Habits to Develop This Summer
- 20 Things You May Not Know About Me
- Mixed Berry Protein Smoothie | My Go-To Smoothie Recipe
- How I Plan Blog Content (With Free Download!)
- What’s Wrong With The “Perfect Body”
1. MIKE’S PASTRY
In the first few days of June Mitchell and I took a day trip up to Boston to visit a friend and explore the city a bit more. We ended up going to Mike’s Pastry in the North End where I got my first ever cannoli! It was delicious and I already want to go back!
2. THE BEACH
I spent a day at the beach this month which was so wonderful. I really want to go a few more times before the summer ends! I live about 20 minutes away from the beach so it’s super convenient to go!
3. NEWPORT CLIFF WALK
Mitchell and I did the Newport Cliff Walk earlier in June and it was so much fun. I love being able to be outside, soak up the beautiful ocean views, and get a little peek at all of the Newport Mansions!
4. HOMEMADE PROTEIN BALLS
I always like having healthy snacks around the house, so I made some protein balls using this recipe and they turned out so yummy! They’re super easy to make and give you a little bit of protein and energy which is so perfect.
5. THE AQUARIUM
My friend, Grace, and I took a little trip to Mystic, Connecticut to go to the aquarium the other day and it was so fun! We saw lots of fish, some penguins, and sea lions!
And there we have it, another month’s top 5! What was your favorite thing from June? Let me know in a comment! And as always, if you liked this post, be sure to head to my homepage and subscribe to emails and follow me on Instagram @mainly.mackenzie!
Hahaha our bfs have the same name and it ALWAYS throws me off!! Most of my June was spent visiting my grandparents and extended family, which was fun, but also a little exhausting 😉 . Happy July!
