Hi! Welcome to Blogmas day 6! I can’t believe it’s already halfway done! Christmas time always is a time of giving which I love! Today I wanted to do a little roundup post for you filled with top charities to donate to this holiday season. Enjoy!
1. MAKE-A-WISH
Make-a-Wish is a pretty well-known charity that does great things both during Christmas and all year long! They help to grant wishes to children with severe medical conditions and have done some really great things.
2. TOYS FOR TOTS
Toys for Tots is a popular program during the holiday season. It’s run by the US Marine Corps and it collects toys to give to children in need who live in the local community.
3. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
This charity takes donations during Christmas in the form of shoeboxes! Just pick a child’s age group, fill a shoebox with toys, hygiene supplies, candy, etc. along with a note and it will be sent to a child in need!
4. MEALS ON WHEELS
Meals on Wheels helps to give meals to senior citizens. They give meals year-round, but go the extra mile during the holiday season to give them a special holiday meal! You can help by donating or even volunteering your time to help hand out meals.
5. SANTA PAWS DRIVE
Santa Paws was inspired by Toys for Tots, but instead of taking children’s toy donations they take pet toy donations. They were the first online pet toy drive to donate toys, supplies, and money to non-profit and no-kill shelters across the United States.
