50 Self-Care Activities You Can Do in 10 Minutes (Or Less!)

Hi! Welcome back to my blog! I know, it’s been a hot minute since I last published a post. Adjusting to my new schedule for the spring semester has been a bit crazy but I’m glad I finally found some time to blog again, I missed it!

I’ve been back at school for a few weeks now, and I have been so incredibly busy. My schedule is pretty packed, which has brought me a bit of stress if I’m being honest. That’s what inspired today’s blog post! If you’re like me and don’t have a ton of time on your hands day to day, then this post is for you. I’m sharing 50 self-care activities that you can do in just 10 minutes! If you’re feeling really busy and overwhelmed, take a step back for just a few minutes and do one of two of these self-care activities. It’ll give you a chance to get back in touch with yourself and reset for a bit.

Without any further delay, here are my 50 self-care ideas! Enjoy!

  1. Make a coffee
  2. Make an herbal tea
  3. Meditate
  4. Do a face mask
  5. Listen to your favorite song
  6. Read a chapter of a good book
  7. Drink a glass of water
  8. Write in a journal
  9. Make your bed
  10. Put on your coziest pajamas and lay in bed
  11. Light a candle
  12. Write down your goals
  13. Eat a bite of chocolate
  14. Make yourself a healthy snack
  15. Do your makeup
  16. Scroll through Pinterest
  17. Find positive people to follow on Instagram
  18. Unfollow old, toxic people on social media
  19. Go for a walk outside
  20. Call a friend
  21. Call your mom
  22. Invite your friends to do something fun with you that week
  23. Find a new recipe you want to try
  24. Wash your face
  25. Take a hot shower or bath
  26. Set a timer and clean your workspace
  27. Stretch
  28. Play with your pets
  29. Sketch/doodle
  30. Say 5 things you like about yourself
  31. Put on some fun scented lip balm/lotion
  32. Paint your nails
  33. Watch a funny video on YouTube
  34. Have a dance party in your bedroom
  35. Release tension in your shoulders and jaw
  36. Give someone you love a hug
  37. Plan out the rest of your day/tomorrow
  38. Close your eyes and daydream
  39. Focus on your breathing
  40. Do a 10-minute ab workout
  41. Go cloud-watching or star-gazing
  42. Finally sew that loose button that’s been bothering you (or fix whatever little thing that’s been bugging you)
  43. Say yes to doing something you’ve always wanted to do but have been too scared
  44. Soak up some sun
  45. Do that one thing that’s been on your to-do list for days
  46. Turn your phone on airplane mode for 5-10 minutes
  47. Treat yourself on a small splurge
  48. Write down a list of things you’re grateful for
  49. Put on your favorite outfit and take a mirror selfie
  50. Put on some at-home teeth whitening strips

  1. OOOH definitely trying out some of these!! I do my best to make my bed and a cup of coffee in the morning, because it gives me some quiet time to myself where I’m being mildly productive but also not stressed 😅😂
