10 Lifestyle Changes That Will Instantly Improve Your Life

We all want to be better, but sometimes we don’t know where to start. Today I’m sharing 10 simple lifestyle changes you can make to improve your life today.

1. GO TO SLEEP EARLIER

Get enough rest, girl! Going to bed earlier can help your life in so many ways. You’ll have more energy throughout the day, your skin will be better, and you’ll be healthier overall.

2. SET TIME LIMITS FOR YOUR PHONE

I’ll be the first to admit it; I’m addicted to my phone. I constantly am checking my phone, even if I don’t even have a reason to. Setting time limits for your phone is a great way to help keep yourself from spending too much time on it. Within iPhone settings you can set time limits for certain apps, or you can plan to put your phone on airplane mode for a certain duration of time each day to cut down on screen time.

3. SET A DAILY WATER GOAL

I aim to drink 100 ounces of water each day. Drinking water is so important for you, so make sure you’re drinking enough every day. Try to drink 64 ounces every day, and increase your intake if you feel like that’s too low!

4. PLAN OUT YOUR DAY THE NIGHT BEFORE

Look over what tasks you want to get done the night before, and roughly sketch out your schedule. This helps you stay productive and on track, because you already know your plan when you wake up in the morning. No excuses!

5. KEEP YOUR PHONE IN YOUR POCKET WHEN WALKING DOWN THE STREET

We miss a lot when we have our heads buried in our phones while walking. Next time you’re going somewhere, try keeping your phone in your pocket or bag, and you’ll be surprised as everything you see.

6. EAT BEFORE GOING GROCERY SHOPPING

We’ve all been grocery shopping while hungry. And I’m sure we’ve all regretted spending so much money on random things when we did that. Try eating before going grocery shopping so you can stick to your list and only buy what you planned.

7. CREATE A WORKOUT ROUTINE

Having a solid workout routine helps to keep you going when you’ve lost motivation. Each week I like to write down what workouts I’m going to do each day so when I wake up I know exactly what to do. It helps me stay disciplined and get it done without any procrastination!

8. FACE A FEAR

Have some fears? Try facing one or a few of them. Stepping out of your comfort zone is one of the best ways to grow, so try facing a fear; even if it’s just a small one!

9. GO OUTSIDE EVERY DAY

Lately I’ve been trying to go for a walk every day. Getting outside, even if its just for 20 minutes, helps to round out the day. Get in some fresh air and take a minute to enjoy nature and your surroundings.

10. PRACTICE GRATITUDE

Before you go to bed, try thinking of or writing down a few things you’re grateful for that day. Acknowledging the good things in every day helps to keep you positive. No matter what, there’s always at least one thing to be thankful for every single day.
