Happy October! Can you believe there’s only 3 months left in the year? This is the perfect time of year to reevaluate where you are and where you want to be by January. Changing or adding to your goals list is a great thing to do for the final quarter of the year.
Setting goals is one of my favorite things to do! It helps me stay on track and continue to grow and evolve. Today I wanted to share with you how to stay on track and achieve your goals. Don’t forget to keep reading so you can get your hands on my FREE goal setting worksheet!
1. HAVE AN ACTION PLAN
If you want to achieve your goals, don’t just set them and expect to reach them. You need to have a plan with steps on how to actually achieve it. When you think of a goal, try to write down a few actionable steps you can take that will get you where you want to be.
2. SET A TIMELINE
Having a timeline for your goals helps you better visualize what you need to do to achieve it. If you set a goal but don’t plan on when you want to reach it, it’s almost a waste because you won’t feel as motivated to work towards it! Set a rough timeline of when you want to achieve it and reach each step of your action plan to keep yourself motivated and determined.
3. WRITE THEM DOWN
If you have your goals written down where you can see them, you won’t be able to forget them. Write your goals down somewhere you will see them often you’ll be constantly reminded of them! This again will help to keep you motivated and determined.
